The entrance by the lighthouse is narrow and the Port entry lights are very useful here.
The unfinished marina at Knights Town is unfinished but has lots of room
and water, no electricity.
We spent a few days enjoying the sights of Valentia Island by foot and
bicycle.
Valentia Coastguard Station & Lighthouse, Slate quarry, Tetrapod trackway,
Geokaun mountain and Bray Head were all worth visiting.
During our last visit to Knights Town a few years ago, club members Charlie & Claire Chavasse and Dick Lincoln were also here. This time it was just ourselves and a Dutch boat.
