We have worked our way up the east coast of Majorca spending last night in Porto Ratjada , a town full of Germans. However, in complete contrast, right beside the port is a Calla Gato, which is a magnificent swimming cove with beautiful houses all around. The marina was very rolly thoughout the night as the marina was exposed to winds from the east and the south.
Currently we’re on our way across to Menorca, destination Mahon, which is about a 43 miles passage. We have 10 to 15 kn of wind coming in from the south, we are sailing east so it’s coming in on just aft of the beam and honking along. We are staying in Mahon for 2 days, with a minor crew change, then Addia, Cuitadella, Pollenca, Soller and across to Barcelona. Weather is great- not too hot, cool at night and the sea is beautiful 22° – lovely and refreshing to go swimming.
