Cara na Mara is a child centered approach to sailing and the marine environment for children aged 6-10.
It includes basic sailing along with essential skills and knowledge which will allow the sailors to enjoy the water and marine environment safely under the care of fully qualified ISA instructors.
The curriculum focuses on becoming comfortable being around water, and includes science, nature and arts and crafts.
The course is specifically designed for children aged 6-9 years.
Buoyancy aids provided.
This year we will have three levels – Otters (Level1), Seals (Level 2) and Dolphins (Level 3). Seals (L2) can choose either mornings (4 days), or afternoons (5 days).
