The conditions were lumpy with a fair breeze but very cold. A mixed fleet of 25 boats started and the racing was run on Portsmouth Yardstick. Thanks to Denis, Sandra, Edwin, Fergal and Austin for the support. Waterford Harbour Sailing Club hosted the event and special thanks to Rupert Musgrave for his help. The event will be hosted by DHSC next year.

John Flynn was the overall individual winner and   St Augustine’s team finished second to Kilkenny College

Dungarvan Harbour Sailing Club

Dungarvan Harbour Sailing Club, Co. Waterford is situated on the South East coast of Ireland, approximately mid way between Cork and Rosslare harbours. Dungarvan Bay is sheltered allowing safe sailing for both racing and junior sailing and training.

The modern clubhouse is situated right on Dungarvan Quay in the harbour and is in the centre of Dungarvan town. It is also adjacent to the club’s pontoon. The clubhouse has a spacious bar and function area and has all the facilities expected of a modern clubhouse.
